Sanaz Vahid, DDS, is a periodontist specializing in implants. Following in her father’s footsteps, she earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland. She advanced her expertise with a degree in Advanced Education in General Dentistry and periodontics from the University of Pittsburgh and a degree in periodontics and implant surgery from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. She is the founder and president of Women of the World of Dentistry and is a leader in the Washington DC, Dental Community. She has authored publications on PCOS and periodontal disease and is an American Board of Periodontology member.
