After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland, Dr. Farhoumand earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Georgetown University School of Dentistry. With a constant yearning to learn, he pursued advanced training at the Rosenthal Institute for Aesthetic Dentistry at New York University. He went on to broaden his expertise even further through continuing education in implant dentistry.
Over the years, Dr. Farhoumand has developed a particular passion for bite alignment. He understands how even subtle misalignment can contribute to recurring headaches, jaw pain, clenching, or jaw locking symptoms, often connected to temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders. Many patients who come in believing they suffer from migraines or sinus issues discover that their discomfort is actually related to bite irregularities.
