After completing her undergraduate degree from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, Dr. Farhoumand, or Dr. Farah as her patients call her, went on to dental school. She earned her doctor of dental surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. Dr. Farhoumand also trained at the Rosenthal Institute for Aesthetic Dentistry at New York University to focus on innovative cosmetic treatments.
Dr. Farhoumand grew up with her brother, Dr. Foad Farhoumand, in Ethiopia. They both followed in their father’s footsteps and became dentists. Shortly after she completed dental school, she joined her brother in private practice.
By taking continuing education courses, Dr. Farhoumand ensures she always offers the most sophisticated and advanced treatments available. She is certified in laser dentistry, cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry, and CEREC® one-day crowns.
Throughout her career, Dr. Farhoumand has spent extensive time traveling overseas volunteering in third-world countries. She has worked alongside other dentists to provide free dental care with nonprofit organizations such as the Jamaica Project and Health for Humanity.

Dr. Morgan Floyd received her doctorate of dental medicine from The University of Alabama School of Dentistry in her hometown of Birmingham, Alabama. Dr. Floyd continued her training at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and The Cambridge Health Alliance, where she completed a General Practice Residency and Advanced Graduate Education. Her residency focused on the multidisciplinary approach to dentistry, emphasizing the need for the oral health provider in the overall healthcare team. Dr. Floyd has experience working with children, medically complex patients, and individuals with special needs.

Dr. Sanaz Vahid DDS is a compassionate and highly trained periodontist with an extensive background in Implant Dentistry. A second-generation dentist, she followed her father’s footsteps in the field of dentistry. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland in Baltimore in 2014. After dental school, Dr. Vahid acquired a degree in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) from the University of Pittsburgh in 2015. Her passion and dedication to higher learning made her pursue a degree in periodontics and implant surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2018.
Dr. Vahid is the founder and president of Women of the World of Dentistry. She is highly active in the Washington DC Dental Community. Dr. Vahid has authored and co-authored multiple publications including studies on the relationship of PCOS and periodontal disease and Sleep Apnea and periodontal disease. She is a member of the American Board of Periodontology since 2015.

Dr. Sanam Kheirieh began her journey in dentistry by earning her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree in Iran in 2005. She worked as a general dentist for six years, during which she developed a passion for research and advanced dental care. Driven to specialize further, Dr. Kheirieh pursued her specialty in Endodontics at the University of Maryland, where she also earned a Master’s degree in Biomedical Science.
Her academic achievements are complemented by her contributions to dental research, particularly in endodontics and dental materials. Dr. Kheirieh has authored numerous publications with nearly 500 citations and has presented her findings at major scientific dental conferences. In recognition of her innovative work, she received the prestigious Sherril Ann Science Endodontic Research Fellowship Award in 2015 for her groundbreaking research on “Nanogel-Based Scaffold In Endodontics.”
With her extensive knowledge, clinical expertise, and passion for research, Dr. Kheirieh continues to set a standard of excellence in endodontic care.
